Shadi's path to founding Silviri began with a flood in her own home — a single failed valve that turned into weeks of disruption and significant repair costs. It is the same scenario most multifamily owners and managers can describe from their own portfolios, only multiplied across hundreds of units and paid quietly under the deductible each year. Determined to prevent it from happening again, she turned to Farbod to find and implement the best technology to solve the problem properly. Silviri is the result. At Silviri, Shadi leads customer engagement, partner relationships, and day-to-day operations — making sure the operators who deploy the system are heard, supported, and well-served from first conversation through deployment and beyond.

Farbod has spent more than 27 years building wireless and RF systems for environments where signal reliability isn't negotiable. He founded SaberTek Inc., a semiconductor design company with a substantial portfolio of IoT-focused integrated circuits, and has led end-to-end wireless system development across consumer, industrial, and infrastructure applications. When Shadi brought him the problem, he set the architecture that distinguishes Silviri from consumer-grade leak detection: sub-GHz radio rather than WiFi or BLE, multi-year battery operation rather than annual replacement cycles, an open standard rather than a proprietary protocol, link budgets engineered for the concrete and steel of multifamily buildings — and a B2B SaaS dashboard built for the workflows of property managers, owners, and maintenance teams, rather than a consumer app for a single household.
